Holy Apostles Team Volunteers with Habitat for Humanity

On Saturday, April 9th, 13 members of the Holy Apostles community spent the day volunteering with DuPage Habitat for Humanity. The team met in West Chicago for a "Faith Build" project to help renovate a home that will be available soon for a family in need. Jobs included removing foam insulation and screws from the walls/studs, preparing wall surfaces, and painting. In addition to being part of our "Missions Ministry," participants enjoyed fellowship with each other, the Habitat for Humanity staff, and one of the home's future residents. A beautiful day of manual labor collaboration and philanthropy! We look forward to offering future faith builds!
