Project Hope Update—Thank You Holy Apostles Family!

Thank you to all who have supported the HOPE food bag program. Since implementing the new protocol, we have seen a noticeable increase in parish participation. Holy Apostles recently received an update on the program's status from HOPE headquarters. In summary, the number of bags received from the parishes fluctuates on a monthly basis but averages between 50-75 bags per month. The food bags continue to be the greatest immediate need. HOPE headquarters continues to receive requests for these bags from the biggest food desert in the Chicagoland area - the Garfield Park area. With the support of the parishes, they have been able to provide meals for those most in need. HOPE anticipates that this need will continue through the summer and truly values the support it receives from all of the contributing parishes in this ongoing effort.
